setting up SFTP with Gnome Commander

Trying to set up SSH connection for SFTP transfers of content. Using the manual settings provided. cPanel crashes followed by Commander crashing.
If I choose the FTP with login setting in Commander, the login fails. Any thoughts??

Thanks for contacting us. Are you using your cPanel username and password? If not, are you sure you're using the correct user and password? Have you tried checking cPanel logs for troubleshooting?
