Hello! Chances are, if the user was deleted through cPanel itself the files no longer exist, but you can use cPanel's file manager to verify this. Be sure you have enabled viewing hidden files (the tutorial is for .htaccess but will apply to all files within file manager), check both cPanel's trash section, and look for the raw files within /home/CPANELUSERNAME/mail/DOMAINNAME/EMAILADDRESS replacing the above with the cPanel User Name, relevant Domain Name, and lost Email respectively.
