How do I export databases?

i am going to move my hosting to another server.
can you tell me the exact file path and database details for both websites?

I've read your directions for backing up a database, and followed them. And so I get a backup file called, for example,***memory.sql.gz, 99 kb. But I'd like to be able to backup all the actual items in the memory database (and also verify some of the individual files) In this case, it's 9+ MB of files.

Thank you for your question on the database backup system. The file that is downloaded does indeed contain all the rows and columns that are in the database. Databases are simple text files and when they are backed up they are compressed (.gz is a compression format) and end up being much smaller in size than when they are uncompressed.
