New domain, name server change working fine, now I need to have it work with Google Workspace/Gmail

Hello, another user posted about how to work with a website hosted on InMotion but the domain was purchased from Google (changing the DNS/name server settings). I have that setup (domain purchased through Google to save money, I want the site hosted here). Currently the DNS works fine for the website, BUT I want to have email accounts for the team here with the new domain. I purchased Google Workspace for the new domain, but the emails are not working. I am wondering if there's some setting here? I checked the "Google MX Wizard" but that says I'm already set up (because we also use Google Workspace for the old domain). Can someone assist? Thanks

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up Google Workspace. Just to confirm, it sounds like you've already followed our guide on activating the wizard. How long did you wait before testing this out? DNS changes can take up to a day or two to fully propagate, so it may not have worked right away (but should be working by now if everything is set up correctly).

Also, I wanted to confirm that you're using the DNS located here on our server. If you're actually using Google for both the domain and the DNS (instead of just pointing the domain), the cPanel wizard won't have any effect and you will need to make the relevant changes in Google's DNS system. If you're not sure, just check what nameservers your domain is currently pointed to.

I'd suggest you follow up by checking the cPanel zone editor and seeing where the MX records are pointing. Hope that helps get you started!
