Hello! For InMotion Hosting customers, the log in to cPanel is what provides that credentials to phpMyAdmin when accessing it in cPanel. In other words, if you log in through cPanel, then you wouldn't need to provide a password when running phpMyAdmin.
However, if you're using phpMyAdmin as a separate application (you didn't launch it from cPanel), then you will need to know the database name, the user name, and the password for the database that you're accessing. You would need to get those credentials (or create them) in the MySQL section of cPanel or from where the database was created. If you don't have access to that, then you will need to speak to the person who created the databases to get that information.
If you are making a REMOTE connection to the database, using a separate MySQL client, then you will need to create the connection in cPanel. You can find out how to do this by going through this article: Setting Up a Remote MySQL Database Connection.
