How do I transfer my domains without admin email access?
Trying to transfer two domains to inmotion and there are two confusing questions.
1) On one account I am listed as the admin and received the email to authorize the transfer. But it's asking for the "Domain Name Password (Auth Info)" and there's no explanation for what this is. It is not the new password or the transfer authorization code. What do I enter here? Is it the old registrar's password? What if I don't have that?
2) On the other account, I am no longer the admin listed with the registrar. When I try to set up the transfer, it asks if I have access to the admin email and if I say no, it won't proceed. I don't understand. Can't I initiate the transfer, THEY receive the email and follow the link and say it's OK?
Thanks.

What is my domain
You will need to get the authorization code from the losing or current registrar. We will need this code for the transfer process to proceed. You must have the authorization code that the losing registrar provides to you to transfer the domain. This is sometimes referred to as a domain EPP or authorization code.Transferring a domain without admin email access
If you are not the administrator on the account, or have access to the admin email address listed you cannot proceed. The winning registrar needs to send a confirmation email to this administrator email address so the transfer can complete. If you don't have access to that email account, you could still submit the request. You could have the administrator email the confirmation to you. I recommend you update the admin email so you have access to the domain BEFORE transferring the domain to make things easier.
