How do I fix an error when trying to send emails?

I have been receiving the following error on one of my email accounts:
Task '[email protected] - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have changed nothing.... this happens on every computer I have on that particular account. My other email accounts function properly.

There seems to be a pattern developing with email problems. This is the third time in three months my email is screwed up.
