FTPing into account using FileZilla. Logs on OK, but shows a remote directory that's empty, and there should at least be some Joomla sample files in public_html, shouldn't there?

All I've got is an empty root...

Hi Nathan9, Thanks for the updates. What I'm seeing is that Joomla is currently installed for your main domain name and the Joomla files can be viewed in the public_html directory (your main domain's document root). It can definitely be overwhelming with all the new user names and passwords. Your Joomla administrator name and password do not have to be the same as either your cPanel or AMP user and password. It's actually more secure to have it that way. I'm not seeing any errors on your site, and since you're able to log into the Joomla administrator panel, it doesn't look like those Fantastico errors have affected the Joomla installation. If you are still concerned about your Joomla installation, you can remove Joomla through Fantastico and re-install Joomla with Fantastico. I believe you are correct about the FTP account being pointed to a different directory. While looking into this for you I noticed an FTP account in your cPanel that is pointed to a folder under public_html (instead of public_html). FTP accounts cannot go any higher in the directory tree than the folder are pointed to when the FTP account is created. When you log in with an FTP account you can only see the folder it is pointed to and any subfolders within that folder. I would recommend removing the FTP account and when you recreate it, make sure it points to public_html. Alternatively, you can use your cPanel user name and password as an FTP account as well, just be sure to navigate into the public_html folder as that FTP account will be viewing folders in your account home. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. Regards, Christi N.
