What is the best way to sell digital download?

Hi, I am very new to sell digital download product. I am trying to sell images, PDF or online greeting card on my website. Since I am very new to this, I have NO IDEA what to do, how to start, what to look for to learn how I can start to sell digital download items on my website. Can someone please help me how I can start setting up and what I need to do to start step by step? I truly appreciate any comments and answers...
