Change Password parameters
[How do you] change required password strength
[How do you] change required password strength
Hello Bobbyg,
Unfortunately, there is no way to force a stronger password within a Business Hosting Plan (shared server). You can enable Two-Factor Authentication with cPanel to make your logins more secure. Control over password length is only available through VPS or Dedicated server accounts where you have root access.
If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
Kindest Regards,
Arnel C.
I answered this earlier, but for some reason, the questions are appearing again in the list. Apologies if you are seeing this question answered again.
Your question about the password parameters is vague and we're not sure what application you're referring to. However, if you're talking about cPanel and you have a VPS or Dedicated server account with root access, then you can log into the Web Host Manager (WHM), search for Password Strength Configuration and then change the parameter there. The existing password will work until it is changed.
If you're referring to a different application, then we would need more information. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
Kindest Regards,
Arnel C.
