Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for your reply and for providing additional information. I suggest using your account IP address instead of localhost to connect to ensure that the command is being attempted in the correct location. To find your account IP please see the following guide:

https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/cpanel/how-to-find-your-shared-ip-address-of-your-server-in-cpanel/

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for your comment, I am happy to assist with this database issue. It would appear that the user does not have access to that database and cannot complete the query. I recommend ensuring that all database access privileges have been enabled for that user in cPanel via the following guide:

https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/cpanel/create-db-user/

Additionally, if you are connecting remotely to do this, you may need to add your IP address to the server firewall:

https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/add-ip-to-firewall/

For direct assistance with this issue, I recommend contacting our 24/7 Technical Support team by submitting a ticket using AMP, calling (757)416-6575, or starting a chat session via your Account Management Panel.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

Best Regards,
Alyssa K
