Unable to open private key file in PuTTy

Dear Inmotion Support Team,

I downloaded the private key as shown in the tutorial and uploaded the id_rsa to PuTTy via Browse option. Nothing happens when I try to Open the id_rsa file in PuTTy.

I used instructions in the link and section SSH using PuTTy - https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/ssh/shared-reseller-ssh

I am a Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 with 64-bit OS user. PuTTy version is Release 0.72 with build platform as 64-bit x86 Windows.

It would be very helpful if you can provide me with some guidance with this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for contacting us. I recommend you delete the key, follow the directions again, and ensure SSH is enabled. You may need to try downloading the key from another browser. Please contact Live Support if you have any further issues.
