Is there a way to remove the blog funtion from WordPress web pages?

I am new to WordPress, I need to build a website, without the blogs, or comments. Is it possible to remove the "leave a reply, comment, post comment" section from the web pages built with Wordpress? if yes what is the easiest way?

Hello Houser, To remove the display of the blog posts, simply do the following: 1. Log into your wordpress admin panel. 2. Select the Settings -> Reading option 3. Under Front Page Displays, select the radio button for "A static page" 4. Select the page you want to have as your front page. 5. Leave the"Posts page" set at 'Select'. As for the comments, you need to disable them, in two places: For existing pages and posts, use this link. To prevent the comment ability in any future pages and posts: 1. Log into your wordpress admin panel. 2. Select the Settings -> Discussion option 3. UNchek the box labeled "Allow people to post comments on new articles" (found in the first group 'Default article settings' at the top) Best Regards, Scott M
