Unable to connect to mySQL database

Hi,

I have added my host to the Remote Database Access Hosts list, but I am getting the following error when my app tries to connect to my database:

SQLSTATE[HY000] [1129] Host '198.46.81.137' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'.

I have a shred server account so I don't have access to mysqladmin. How do I flush-hosts?

Thank you for your question westis5! Sorry for the problem connecting to your database. I was able to connect remotely with a 3rd party application. Also, 198.46.81.137 is not blocked in the firewall on the server. Make sure you have done the following. 1. Create a user for the database and add the user with full Permissions. 2. Try adding a % for testing in the Remote MySQL to open all connections If you are still having trouble connecting after those steps, please contact tech support so they can review your logs when you connect.
