Joomla: Changing user Profile plugin for other language

On this website there is a excellent Joomla 2.5.x tutorial on how to change or add custom fields to the user profile plugin.

How do I use this tutorial in such a way that it is usable for another language? See step 6. Or can I expect Joomla to take my (modified) nl_NL ini file since I use that language both front and back as default for all users.

Hello Herbie5300, When working with Adding Custom User Profile Fields in Joomla 2.5 for another language, look for the appropriate language folder at Step 4. The overall process should be the same, just replacing the en_GB with your appropriate language code where needed. Best Regards, Scott M
