Hackers keep trying to access wordpress admin?

Can Inmotion provide some support to my account given we continually are getting attacked from hackers or people in the Ukraine or Romainia trying to gain access to our Wordpress admin?

They are trying user names that do not exist but I keep getting notifications of their attempts to log in.

Hello Joe, Another option you may want to try, and for anyone else that is having trouble with access from specific countries, is to block IP ranges from that country. Luckily, we also have instructions on doing just that: How to block a country's IP ranges in htaccess Best Regards, Scott M

Hello Joe, If they are trying to get into the WP-Admin area, we have a nice article that helps you prevent that sort of thing. Preventing Brute Force Attacks on Admin Login This helps by limiting the IP addresses that can access the wp-admin area. Best Regards, Scott M
