Hi,

I've triple checked my password for my FTP account as well as reset it and keep getting this error when I try to use FTP. Can you please help correct this? Thanks!

Hello LauraC, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problem with the login to FTP. The error message above indicates that you're trying to login with mainpointe. I checked your account and also tested with a test user (that I will delete immediately after this reply). Basically, the problem isn't the password, it's your user name. If you use the user name of [email protected] and your password, then the login will work. If you need to see your FTP settings, you can go into the cPanel - FTP accounts and click on "Configure FTP Client" - this will show you the exact needed to login using an FTP client. Additionally, you do not need to create a FTP account to use FTP. You already have a master account created. It's based on your cPanel login.
