Errors when transferring domain..

I'm attempting to transfer my domain to GoDaddy (for convenience) but I'm getting some weird errors. GoDaddy is trying to send me some transaction IDs, but the email is not working. They're saying that the email on record is: [email protected] . I've removed the privacy; how long should that take to be in effect? Is that the issue?

Hello thisisstupid, The process to get your domain released is listed in our article on How to unlock your domain. As for your domain email address, once you remove privacy, that will be replaced with your primary email address on file for the hosting account. This way you will be able to receive your Authorization Code for transfer. It is advised, however, to wait up to 24 hours afterwards to ensure the process has fully taken place. Best Regards, Scott M
