All templates error (joomla2.5.11)

No matters what template i try to install i get the same error
Admin: You need to specify a valid category id in the menu parameters.
and the menu is invisible.

Hello Mariosgr, Apologies for the problem you're having with the template. I couldn't duplicate the issue myself, but further search in the Joomla forums recommends the following: 1) Go to the SEARCH SETTINGS in the Joomla Admin 2) Select YES for "Use current page itemid for search results" The post said that this resolved the issue.
