Hi,

I can't access my site again, What is happening now? I received an error alert from a free web monitoring site, 2 hours ago, the message that they sent me is "Connection refused", and the description for this error is "this usually means there is no server at the webseite address"

Yesterday I upgraded my account from a power plan to VPS100, I don't know if this is the main problem.

Please I need your help!

Thank you!

Hello Carlos_Berman, Sorry for the confusion. It appears that you are mixing up the necessary updates for your domain name. The statement that you copied: "If you are using a third-party DNS service, you will need to manually update your DNS records to the IP of the VPS provided above" If your domain name is not being managed by us, and you are required to update an A record in the DNS, then this would be the IP address of the VPS server (which is diffeerent from the shared server). You can determine your VPS IP address by simply logging into your Web Host Manager for your VPS and then going to "LIST ACCOUNTS." That will give you a list of the accounts along with the assigned IP address. If you're trying to simply CHANGE the name servers of the domain, then you review this article on updating your domain name servers. It will give you video explanation and also the correct name servers that you need. If you have any further questions, please leave a comment with more details and and we will be happy to review the issue for you. If we answered your question and it's a great solution for you, please make sure to mark the answer as the BEST answer. Or please leave a comment or note of thanks so that we know your issue is resolved or ongoing. Arnel C. Community Support Team

Hello Carlos_Berman, We apologize for the issues with your VPS. I just spent some time reviewing the issue myself, and I had a systems person take a closer look. The issue is that the services needed to be restarted. Everything should be up and running now, though. If you have any further issues of this nature, it is recommended that you contact our live technical support team immediately, since they will have the access to restart the services as needed.
