Database connection error after clearing cache

I just received this error after I cleared my cache. Not sure if that would have been the cause or not. Checked the wp-config.php file database info to ensure it is correct. The username info seems to match up to what is in the control panel, but I don't know where to find the password information so I can check if it is correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
