How do I stop Outlook clients from getting this warning?

The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified.

The target principal name is incorrect.

The message is telling you that the name on the certificate does not match the server name. If you click the View button, you'll see the certificate name.
I too am having this issue since InMotion moved our domain to a new server. All of my Outlook settings are correct and I still get this dang warning. According to Microsoft:

"The message is telling you that the name on the certificate does not match the server name. If you click the View button, you'll see the certificate name. (the mail host) needs to use a certificate that does not cause the problem."

So the error needs to be fixed on the InMotion side. Not sure why they don't get this.

Hello kguillory, I am unable to locate an account for you within our servers based on the information provided., so I will answer more generally. According to Microsoft, this can occur when the email settings are incorrectly set up in the Outlook. You can find all the proper settings (server names, etc) within your cPanel using our article on Finding email settings Go over them and ensure they are all set correctly.
