My password is complex. My username is not "admin." Your other suggestions are too complex. I can no longer log in to me cpanel anyhow because you now require an additional password I do not have. I keep being locked out of my wordpress site because of not complying with some specifications that you won't actually specify. I don't know what to do.

Hello Trematodon, Thank you for your question. You can reset your cPanel password in AMP, and also view your cPanel username. Following those 2 guides will allow you to access the cPanel. Then, you can modify the .htaccess file via File Manager in cPanel, and add your IP address to the rules. Also, here is a helpful link to the full guide covering the Wordpress Brute force issues. Finally, once you are able to login to the Wordpress Dashboard, I recommend performing an update due to the recently identified vulnerabilities in Wordpress. If you are having a lot of trouble, contacting live support may help, since you can then provide account specific information in a secure setting. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
