What is the limit on number of recipients on an email?

I am trying to send a group email to members of our nonprofit. I keep getting a "too many recipients; try again later" type of message. I tried breaking up the list into two groups of 60 but am still getting this message. Is there a definite upper limit on the number of recipients inmotion servers allow? I've not confronted this before. Thanks.

What is the maximum number of "BCC" email recipients ?
I need to send a mass email. But the mail is rejected due to "too many recipients."

The limit on email recipients is 50. However, if you're going to be sending mass emails I'd recommend using phpList or a third-party email marketing system like MailChimp. These systems mitigate resource issues like the one you are receiving.

Hi miker, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. There is a limit of 50 total recipients on each email. This includes BCC, CC, and TO fields. Here's a link to an article outlining the restrictions and what you can do: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/everything-email/introduction-email/writing-sending-email If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
