Can I add a domain as an ecommerce domain to my hosting account?

What is the difference between having multiple websites on ONE account and having different domains (InmotionHosting)?
Currently, I already have a web site based on Premium Site Builder.
I want to open one more new site with PreastaShop. I want to have both my first site and the e-comerce one.
Should I buy a new domain, or this new e-commerce can be registered as one more site on my account for free according to my package specification? How it works?

Hello TorriaM, Thanks for the question! Your question is a bit vague, because you can use the word "website" and "domain" to refer to the same thing. You can host multiple websites on ONE account - the number of sites will differ depending on the hosting plan that you have purchased. All of the websites on that ONE account could all have different domain names. For more on the different types of domains you can add to your account, check out: Add-on domains, Parked Domains and Subdomains. If you have multiple hosting accounts, you would be paying more for the hosting service. You can always register a new domain name through the Account Management Panel (AMP). An added domain/website to your hosting plan can be an ecommerce site, or not - this would be your preference. I hope this helps to answer your question!
