Both TXT and MX records can be modified/created from cPanel:
You can add a TXT record from cPanel, using the Advanced Zone Editor, which is explained in this article.
MX records can be Created from cPanel as well, by clicking the MX Entry button under mail, it is explained in detail in this guide.
Be sure to allow up to 24 hours for propagation, anytime you make a DNS modification such as this.
