Windows Live Mail IMAP Question

I have setup my windows live email accounts and when it downloads the folders I am getting a message of The IMAP server has issued an unrecognized greeting
My configuration is: IMAP protocol
Port 587Secure (SSL): 0
Code 800cccOf
Any help would be greatful to get this corrected.

Port 587 is an incorrect port for IMAP. Port 587 is the port you would use to send mail via SMTP, but IMAP uses port 143 for non-SSL connections. Try changing the port within your client to reflect this. Also, you may want to take a look at our guide on Windows Live Mail as well.
