How Can I Cancel My Account?

I am currently hosting the domain mockbrian.com on inmotion hosting. Given that all I use my hosting for is static files and a custom email address, I am planning on switching to a less expensive and more developer friendly alternative.

So in short I would like to cancel my inmotion hosting account, disable renewal of my hosting plan, and have the mockbrian.com domain transferred to my ownership.

While I cannot make any changes, like canceling your account, or provide account-specific information to you regarding your account on this public forum, I am happy to provide you what I can as well as point you in the right direction. I'm sorry to hear that you want to cancel your account. As far as further development functionality, a VPS would be your best option in which you would have your own Linux environment to do nearly anything you want. This, however, is going to be more expensive than a typical shared hosting environment. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative than the plan you currently have, there is indeed a lower priced plan available as well than what you are currently on.
