Remote datase connection blocked.

I seem to be blocked from connecting to my database remotely due to multiple failed attempts. How long does it take to flush out the connection blocking?
What is the d password i need to use to connect to the remote database? It seems like a simple question but there many possible combinations.

To connect to a remote database, you will first need to add the source of the connection to allowed remote connections in cPanel. After this is established, you may use the database user and password that is associated with that particular database. If you are now getting an error stating that there are too many failed connections and mysql flush-hosts needs to be run, you may contact technical support for them to resolve that for you.
