OpenCart UPS Developer Kit questions

I went onto UPS.com and downloaded all there developer kit zip files, I know opencart inherently has UPS shipping on it however I wasnt sure if it needs to be updated with UPS files from their site. One of the files allows for a tracking number that I am sure everyone wants when they buy something online. Do I actuallu need to plug in these files on the back end or am I good. If I do need to where?
