If you use a CMS (such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal) be sure to update passwords for any Admin accounts and remove any unneeded users.
Also, if you have unneeded remote database users, you should remove their privileges or the user from the database if possible.
You can check your cPanel logs to see who is accessing your account.
