How Do I Fix an Outlook Error?

I get this error when i try to configure Outlook

Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding a Outlook 0x80042109 error. I found a post in the official Outlook forums, where they suggest checking that your outgoing port is 587.
