Inquiring about high CPU on a website

My site is nonprofitwithballs.com and we've been trying to reduce its high CPU usage for a while. The site doesn't get an exceptional amount of traffic and whenever we get notices about the high usage, Disqus is blamed, but that seems like a rather generic answer. We've tried turning off Disqus for a week to see if there was a difference and there didn't seem to me. We've installed a caching plug-in and have tried to address issues that show up GTMetrix. Was wondering if you guys could possibly provide more specific information so we can fix this better?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, Sorry to hear that you're having problems with high CPU usage on your site. I took at your tech support notes and also took a close look at the Gtmetrix report. The main thing support is pointing at are your plugins - you have a few that are making queries that are taking some time to complete. According to Gtmetrix, you have 33 external javascript queries. They're probably the main source leading to the CPU usage issue. If the queries are taking some time to complete, then they will basically queue up and cause a need for the site to use more CPU. For more specifics, you need to look at your plugins, the Gtmetrix reports and see if you reduce those external queries. The Gtmetrix report is a great tool because they often give you sources for other issues that might cause your site to run slow. I hope that helps to explain it a little. It's hard to give specifics on this issue because it's a combination of multiple sources that are causing the problem. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments.
