I can't get OwnCloud to sync properly

I've installed OwnCloud on my VPS and can login via web browser with no issues. However, when attempting to sync via Mac, it gives me the red x in my icon bar and the message "No connection to OwnCloud at mydomainname"

Any help would be appreciated.

It appears that the OwnCloud client is searching for a particular directory under the domain named owncloud in which is OwnCloud is not installed under that specific directory name, it will be unable to connect. Of course, be sure that you also have the correct username and password when connecting as well. If you continue to experience issues, you may want to contact the OwnCloud forums for more information as they would have much more information on their software than we are able to provide.
