Prestashop PHP configuration limits

I'm trying to make some translations in my prestashop site but it shows me this message:

Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars.
Please ask your hosting provider to increase this limit to 5020 at least, or you will have to edit the translation files.

I need to modify the php.ini file but it doesn't exist in my public_html directory. How can I request a creation of this file?

Hello, Thank you for your question. If you do not see a php.ini file in your public_html, please contact our Support Department and request that we create one for you. You can then change your PHP settings, by modifying that php.ini file. Thank you, John-Paul
