I am a little overwhelming with web-hosting... I will appreciate if someone can let me know the order I should follow to add a new website online. I create my website with an app called DrawPlus, and my domains are all at Domain.com (and I want to keep them there) So please, tell me just the steps I need to do in order to get my websites online within InMotion. I will need to set up just one email for each website I add. It is very important for me to understand the order, what should be done first and so on. (For example: Should I point the domain first or should I load the website?) The order is VERY important part of this question. Thank you very much for any help.

  1. To ensure that your website does not have any downtime, it is best to publish your content to your account at InMotion before pointing your domain's nameservers
  2. As your domain will not be pointed yet, you will need to locate the server hostname and publish to that location. Unfortunately, I do not have exact instructions on publishing with DrawPlus, but their documentation and/or support should get you pointed in the right direction.
  3. After your content has been published, you may use your temporary URL to then view the site as it stands on your hosting account here.
  4. If all looks good, you can then point your nameservers. Keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for all users to be sent to your account on InMotion.
  5. Until propagation has completed, some visitors may simply see the site on your old hosting provider.
