E-mails disappearing after being sent in Outlook 2011 for Mac

Sometimes, not always, when an e-mail is sent it disappears in seconds. When you try to retrieve the message for any reason, it is gone! It is an intermittent problem and very disconcerting and inconvenient. HELP!

Hello, Sorry to hear about the problems with email in Outlook 2011 on your Mac! I did a search for the issue and the information I'm finding is that it is related to the Outlook program. This post in the Apple Support community references a Microsoft knowledgebase article. If you wish for us to investigate this matter further, we need more information. We need to know the email address (sender), and the email subject line if possible. Also, how are you configured? Are you using an IMAP or POP configuration? Are there any error messages?
