Email Samsung S5 error

Hi I have been able to setup my mail account using email from S5 via wifi at work but once out if range of the wifi mail stops working, when I tried setting it up without wifi gives a error nail server incorrect or server requires a protocol that email does not support. Please help

Hello, Thank you for your Samsung email setup question. Since email works on the wifi network, but not on the phone network (it should default to the phone network when the wifi is no longer available), I suspect a limitation or port block on your phone's network. As a test try switching your email settings. For example, if you are using the non-SSL settings in your phone, try the SSL settings instead, or vice versa. This will switch the ports as well as the email settings. If email begins working, then you will know that the phone network does not like or is blocking the settings. This would account for the "server incorrect or server requires a protocol that email does not support" message. Also, contacting your phone's network provider may allow them to monitor the server logs and see if any errors are being generated while you attempt to connect.
