Admin URLs don't work when prestashop or opencart is installed

I'm trying to make an online store, but when I install prestashop or opencart or anything else for that matter, the admin URLs don't work. For example www.example.com/admin doesnt work and i am redirected to the index. Can you please help me with this?

Hello Flyboy, Sorry for the problems with PrestaShop or OpenCart. Hopefully you're not installing PrestaShop AND Opencart at the same time, because they won't work together in the same URL. Please provide the URLs that you're trying to use and we can double -check to see what's happening.
