Multistore concept not working in prestashop

I am trying to built shop with multistore feature. I am created multistore with setting up shop name, url setting and shop group name.

> Now While setting second shop url. It asks for physical folder url link. Its like installing another prestashop shop and provide that link.
> If so why do we require multistore feature since another prestashop file structure will have their own admin.

Hello, Thanks for the question. Using the Multistore option in PrestaShop allows you to administer multiple stores from ONE location. As opposed to having multiple PrestaShop installations with individual installations. If you don't like how they have created and setup multishop use, then do not use it. You can use the multiple site installation if you wish. We currently do not have 1.6 documentation on PrestaShop multistore usage - yet.
