Follow-Up of Prestashop download.

Thank-you for your response to my question about changing themes. I think this is what I want to do:

1. Put my current 1.5 Prestashop website in Maintenance Mode.
2. Upload Prestashop 1.6 engine.
3. Activate the new "Marris" theme (1.6). Put it in maintenance mode while I am working on it.

I then will cross my fingers and hope that the products transferred over from the "Buddie" theme to the "Marris" theme. Is there anything I should watch for during this process?

Hello Bruce, Sorry for the problems with the upgrade to PrestaShop 1.6. There are a variety of issues that have already been addressed by PrestaShop. You will need to start updating all of your modules. That will help take care of some issues. You'll probably want to review the PrestaShop docs for upgrading and also Scott's guide on upgrading from PrestaShop 1.5 to 1.6. If you continue to have problems after the updates, then we will need to focus on what's working or not working. Please make sure that all of your modules are updated (go to the Modules page), and then let us know of the issues that remain. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
