I cannot install PrestaShop

hi, i uploaded prestashop files using filezilla but i cannot install it. as i have been told i create a PUBLIC-HTML directory and uploaded files inside it but when i open my url it says 404 not found. can u help me?

Hello, Thank you for your question about installing PrestaShop. You should not need to create a public_html folder, since there is one in every account by default. For more information on your folder structure, please see our guide What directory should I put my files in?. Since you are having trouble, I recommend installing PrestaShop using Softaculous. It simplifies the setup process. We also have a tutorial on how to Manually install Prestashop, if you prefer this setup method. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
