Help with the 'Top Horizontal Menu' module
Hello,
My name is CJ, and I am setting up a new site using PrestaShop 1.6.0.11. I am using the default template, and instead of deleting it all and starting from scratch, I have chosen to go section by section and delete as I go. I am currently trying to configure the 'Top Horizontal Menu' module. I have several questions:
1. Is there any way to delete choices in the 'Available Items' section. There are many that apply to the default theme which are no longer relevant to me.
2. I have added a couple of new 'Labels', but do not know what to type into the 'Link' window.
3. What is the 'New Window' choice for? Do I choose Yes or No?
I am trying to create subcategories for my new Labels.
Thanks.

You would need to go into the Modules/Positions (look for Top Horizontal Menu) section and then add the modules that you don't want displayed in the list. You'll see the instructions on how to do that when you go to the section of the admin.
I have added a couple of new 'Labels', but do not know what to type into the 'Link' window.
The link you're adding here is the page that you're jumping to with that label. You would need to create that category FIRST, then when you're in your storefront, highlight the URL and use it for the link. This could also be a link to an outside URL that simply gives information on the product you're selling.

New Window is for when your customer viewing the site clicks on the link. Do they get a NEW window, or does it simply replace the one that they're in. So, if they're in your store, and the link goes somewhere ELSE, then you may want to open a new window. If they remain within your store, then you can stay in the same window. I hope that clarifies it for you.
