Creating subdomains for friends

Is it within the TOS and possible to create independent subdomains? Basically, I would like to allow friends who want to experiment with webdesign to make a website as a subdomain off my site. Would they be able to do everything use FTP or will it require cPanel to setup certain things (e.g. databases, etc)? I am not looking to be a reseller, I just figure I would let friends play around with idea of webdesign while I do.

Hello, Thanks for the question to see if it was against terms of service to use subdomains to build websites. This is very often done for testing purposes. It is NOT a problem to do so. You can use Softaculous to install websites to help make it easier. Databases may be limited depending on the hosting account type. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
