How Do I Handle Out Of Stock Items

I just had my products downloaded via a data feed and already I have 368 products listed as out of stock. Do I just delete them or is there a way to show them as out of stock other than manually entering it? I don't think I should delete as some products may come back in stock. I am using OpenCart. I see articles on this for other platforms but no opencart.

Hello, Thanks for the question about handling your out of stock inventory. If you anticipate the inventory being re-stocked at some point, then it would not be wise to delete your out-of-stock inventory. Unfortunately, there is no built in way to manage your stock in bulk. However, it is possible to get an extension that can help you to manage multiple stock items at once. Check out Bulk Product Editing. Unfortunately, this plugin is not free, though for $29, it's not highly priced either. There are many extensions that are available to you.
