Does InMotion Hosting use security that blocks XML RPC protocol?
Here is my issue: I am trying to use the WP / LR Sync plugin for Lightroom and WordPress. I have installed the plugin on both my WordPress site and Lightroom. When I try to connect to my site from within Lightroom to authorize the plugin, it is connecting to my site and finding the correct directory where the XML / RPC handler is located (xmlrpc.php).
However, it seems that there is a security setting somewhere that is preventing Lightroom from posting to WordPress through the WP/LR Sync plugin.
Does inmotion hosting apply additional security measures that prevent third party applications from posting directly to a WordPress site?
The plugin developer has noted this has been a conflict that has occurred with some hosting companies that offer an added layer of security for their WordPress sites. Here is a link to the developer's post:
