Cannot Update WP Database

We are completely locked out of our admin panel. It's saying to update the database however it's not allowing us to get into admin. This is the message we are given each time: "WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version."

Please help!

Hello Chris, Thank you for contacting us about problems updating your WordPress database. This seems to be a common problem, as I found many results when I searched for the error. I found a post titled "Wordpress Error: Database Update Required," where they suggest checking the database, and clearing browser cache. Also, with debugging turned on, it is much easier to locate any errors within your WordPress site as well as any plugins and themes that may be causing errors.
