I don't see the root access option in my AMP

I am trying to backup my site with winscp and every time I login with admin user to the root, I get an access is denied error. I thought that maybe access to the root is limited. This article

describes how to access root but I cannot find the mentioned request root access link.
please help me get around this problem.

Please keep in mind that you need to be on a VPS or Dedicated server in order to receive root access. If you are currently on a shared server then you will not be granted this password.
