Can't connect with FTP

I'm trying to connect to my ftp site that I set up with FileZilla and I keep getting the following error. I replaced the ftp address with "myftp" and ip address to zeros.

Status: Resolving address of ftp.myftp.com
Status: Connecting to 00.000.00.000:00...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Initializing TLS...
Status: Verifying certificate...
Status: TLS connection established.
Command: USER test@myftp.com
Response: 331 Password required for test@myftp.com.
Command: PASS ********
Response: 530 User cannot log in.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Hello jbarnes0026, Sorry to hear about your FTP login issue. I am not sure what hostname you entered into the FTP settings. I tested a test account and was able to get in. However, it did not work with the domain name as that domain is not yet pointed to us. I did use the IP address for your cPanel account and was successful. You may want to try that and it should let you in. Kindest Regards, Scott M
