Can't Activate Theme in Wordpress

I recently transferred my site from wordpress.com (www.whatsonoshawa.com) to InMotion, and I purchased a theme to update the site. The theme file appears in File Manager in wordpress-content/themes folder, and all of the files for the theme are there, but I can't activate it. I've followed the tutorials about adding themes and when I log into Wordpress through my cPanel, the option for uploading a new file isn't there. My site appears the same as it did when hosted through wordpress.com.

I believe I've missed a step or two in the process, I'm just not sure where. Can you assist?
